Maktab Rendah Sains MARA Tun Ghafar Baba, established in 1981 in Jasin, Melaka, is named after the late Tun Ghafar Baba, Malaysia's former Deputy Prime Minister and a native of Melaka. This co-educational MRSM provides rigorous science and mathematics education to Bumiputera students, carrying forward the legacy of its distinguished namesake.
