Sekolah Menengah Sains Sabah (SMESH), established in 1984 in Kota Kinabalu, is the first fully residential school in East Malaysia and the 27th of its kind nationally. Formerly known as Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Sabah, SMESH has been the flagship residential science school for Sabah for four decades, producing leaders across all professional sectors.
