Sekolah Menengah Sains Tuanku Syed Putra (SYEDPUTRA), established in 1973 in Kangar, Perlis, is the first and flagship state science boarding school in Malaysia's smallest state. Named after Tuanku Syed Putra, the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from Perlis, it has over five decades of academic tradition serving students from across Perlis.
